Great Circle Shipping, a Bangkok-based ship management company, is fitting 34 of its bulk cargo carriers with Thrane & Thranes maritime Iridium terminals under a service contract with Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel), Iridium Satellite announced Nov. 9.

The systems will provide voice and e-mail for the ship’s business and crew.
