The launch of the Inmarsat-4 satellite on a Sea Launch Zenit-3SL has been rescheduled for Nov. 8, according to the latest information on the Sea Launch Co. LLC Web site as this issue of Satellite Today was going to press. The launch window will open at 9:07 a.m. EST.

Inmarsat-4 was scheduled to be launched Nov. 5, but the mission was scrubbed due to an automated halt in the launch countdown system prior to fueling, Sea Launch said Nov. 5.

The Inmarsat-4 satellite is designed to provide high-speed mobile services throughout the Americas in support of Inmarsat’s forthcoming Broadband Global Area Network service.
