Skylife Advances PVR Plans

Korean satellite pay-TV operator Skylife is preparing to launch personal video recorder (PVR) services in Korea in 2006. The operator has announced that it will use NDS‘s XTV technology to launch PVR services. XTV is fully integrated with the NDS end-to-end systems and the electronic program guide.

The five-year old Skylife has around 1.8 million subscribers.
