Sirius Satellite Radio and DaimlerChrysler announced Oct. 31 they have extended their exclusive relationship through Sept. 1, 2012. The agreement covers all Chrysler Group and Mercedes-Benz vehicles and Freightliner Trucks. Sirius said it expects more than 750,000 subscribers to be generated from model year 2006 Chrysler Group sales, with volumes estimated to increase significantly in the future.
