SES Astra announced Oct. 26 that South Asian cable and satellite TV provider Sony Entertainment Television will transmit its newly launched Max channel on the Astra 2A satellite, located at 28.2 degrees East. Max, a premium subscription channel that offers a mix of Indian Bollywood movies and international events to subscribers in the United Kingdom, will be the second Sony Entertainment Television channel carried by Astra 2A.
