SES Astra announced Oct. 17 an agreement with U.K.’s Channel 4 for the lease of a third transponder on the Astra 2A satellite at 28.2 degrees East. Channel 4 will use the additional capacity to support the expansion of new services, including the launch of new channels and associated data services.
