XM Plans Radio Giveaway During World Series
XM Satellite Radio will offer a free radio to fans attending the first game of the World Series, XM announced.
Fans entering U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago for the Oct. 22 game between the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros will receive a coupon for a Delphi XM RoadyXT satellite radio, which sells for a suggested retail price of $79.99. Fans who elect to redeem the offer will be required to pay for three months of service at $12.95 per month.
The World Series is a best-of-seven-games format, and if game five becomes necessary, XM will repeat the offer for fans attending the game scheduled for Oct. 27 in Houston.
