Report: Russia Loses Control Of Satellite

Media outlets reported Oct. 19 that Russia has lost control of a recently launched Earth observation satellite. According to reports, Russian space agency Roskosmos attributed the problems with its Monitor-E satellite, placed in orbit in August, to problems in manufacturing and in-orbit operations.
