MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA) signed a contract to support research at the Canadian Department of National Defence intended to derive military information from Radarsat-1 imagery, MDA announced Oct. 4
MDA, which operates the radar imaging satellite, will work with Defence R&D Canada-Ottawa, a special operating agency under the Department of National Defence.
The initial value of the contract for MDA is Cdn. $1.3 million ($858,000).
