Path 1 Network Technologies Inc. unveiled Oct. 3 its new Professional Services Group, which is designed to support to customers adding Internet protocol (IP)- based digital TV platforms and content distribution networks.

The services that will be offered by the Professional Services Group, such as performance benchmarking and best practices assessment, are designed to help customers maximize their IP video network, minimize network costs, streamline the usage process and improve efficiency and quality of service. The unit also will offer an IP Transition Workshop, a training course designed to help customers understand the scope of the effort involved with transitioning their video networks to IP.
