Calian’s Systems Engineering Division received a contract to provide operations and maintenance for the Canadian Space Agency’s (CSA) Satellite Operations Directorate.

The two-year contract covers at CSA facilities in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, and Saskatoon used to operate Radarsat-1 and Scisat-1. The contract, an extension of work Calian has performed for CSA since 1994, has a potential value of Cdn. $16 million ($13.7).

Calian’s Business and Technology Services Division won a renewal contract for the operations and maintenance of satellite receiving systems at the Prince Albert Satellite Station. The nine-month contract carries a pair of one-year options, bringing the total potential contract value to approximately Cdn. $3.5 million ($3 million).
