Digitalglobe announced Sept. 21 that Thomas Henning was named the company’s new senior director of U.S. defense business development. Henning will interact with senior U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence community leaders to help Digitalglobe meets the needs of government agencies. He also will work with Digitalglobe’s industry partners in the Washington, D.C. area. Henning previously served as the first liaison between the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and NASA, where he facilitated agency-to-agency relationships and identifying, defining and coordinating the geospatial and Earth mapping needs of both agencies.
