XM Satellite Radio will be the exclusive live radio broadcaster of the “From the Big Apple to the Big Easy” concert for Hurricane Katrina relief, taking place at New York’s Madison Square Garden arena Sept. 20. The broadcast begins 7 p.m. on XM Ch. 200.

Subscribers to Echostar Communications Corp.‘s Dish Network direct-to-home satellite television service will be able to view the concert on a pay-per-view basis for $19.95, with all proceeds going to the relief and rebuilding efforts in the Gulf Coast region.
