Westar Satellite Services said it will complete its new “on-ramp” facility in New York next month. The site in lower Manhattan will enable rapid distribution of video, data and voice communications for customers from locations in Texas to New York.

The facility offers round-the-clock transmission of broadcast-quality communications. Westar provides uplink and downlink video services via satellite and terrestrial transmission, including multimedia and streaming media content distribution.
