Spacedev made a secured loan to Starsys Research Corp., which previously had entered into a non-binding letter of intent with Spacedev concerning a potential transaction, Spacedev announced Sept. 15.
In connection with the $1.2 million loan, Starsys agreed not to discuss a material sale of its assets, a material sale of its stock, a merger or similar transaction with any other party until Oct. 31.
