Comtech EF Data Corp., a subsidiary of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., received a U.S. patent for technology that improves the operation of communication networks, the company announced Sept. 15.

The technology is intended to improve operations for networks, such as ones using satellite links, that experience distressed communication channels due to issues such long latency and high bit error rate.
