Sirius Satellite Radio said Sept. 6 it would offer 31 National Football League (NFL) games in Spanish during the 2005-2006 season through its carriage of NFL Futbol Americano, CBS Radio Sports/Westwood One‘s Spanish language package of NFL games. The games include the 2005 season opener between the New England Patriots and the Oakland Raiders on Sept. 8, all Monday night games, both games on Thanksgiving (Nov. 24), and all playoff games. Spanish language coverage will conclude with Super Bowl XL on Feb. 5, 2006.
