Vision Technologies Electronic Inc. (VTEE) has entered into a definitive merger agreement to acquire iDirect Technologies for $165 million. VTEE is a subsidiary of Vision Technologies Systems, the U.S. headquarters of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions, including the approval of a majority of iDirect’s stockholders.

The acquisition is not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated earnings per share of Singapore Technologies Engineering for the current financial year. Once completed, iDirect will become a wholly owned subsidiary of VTEE.
