Globecomm Systems Inc. announced Aug. 30 that it has added a one-year extension to its contract with the Iraqi Telecom & Post Company (ITPC). The satellite services company will provide international voice services to the ITPC for phone calls originating in Iraq to other parts of the world and for calls originating outside of Iraq through Globecomm’s partners into the ITPC network.

In other news, Globecomm partnered with Agility Recovery Solutions, providing them satellite connectivity and call center restoring services to support voice and Internet connectivity. Globecomm and Agility are on call 24 hours to support other clients in the region.
