RAC Trafficmaster Telematics, part of the U.K.’s Trafficmaster PLC, will provide traffic information services to GPS receiver manufacturer Garmin Ltd. under a three-year agreement, Trafficmaster announced.

Trafficmaster’s Radio Data System Traffic Message Channel traffic information service will be available on Garmin’s newest premium satellite navigation products in the United Kingdom, the Streetpilot c340 and Streetpilot 2720 GPS Navigators. The two units display the traffic information on color-coded maps and calculates alternate routes for drivers.

The c340 will retail for 539.74 British pounds ($973), while the 2720 is priced at 793 pounds ($1,429).
