Cobra Electronics, a manufacturer of navigation and communication products, debuted a new portable unit that incorporates real-time traffic reports with its other services, the company announced.

The Nav One 4500 was developed by Cobra in partnership with Clear Channel Radio and Tele Atlas. The matchbook-sized receiver provides users with traffic reports for 48 major metropolitan areas in the United States. The aftermarket unit includes an antenna that attaches to the vehicle mount.

The unit can be purchased through Web site Amazon.com and will be shipped to retailers in September, Cobra said.
