Integral Systems Inc. won a research and development contract from the U.S. Air Force for the GPS Control Segment program, the company announced Aug. 25.

Under the six-month, $1.2 million contract, Integral will investigate and develop hardware and software architectures for the next generation GPS ground segment. Integral also will provide technology demonstrations to show the ability of its architecture and capabilities to meet the GPS mission requirements.
