Comtech Telecommunications Corp. said its Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp. subsidiary received a $4.7 million order under its Movement Tracking System (MTS) contract with the U.S. Army. The order is for Comtech’s next generation mobile satellite transceiver, which features embedded radio frequency identification and secure GPS capabilities, along with ruggedized computers and control stations.

The latest order under the MTS contract brings the total value of the award to $195.5 million for Comtech. The contract carries a total potential value of $418.2 million.
