Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced Aug. 16 that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., received $1.8 million of orders for its mobile data communications products.

The company will provide mobile terminal transceivers for Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below – Blue Force Tracking, a situational awareness command and control system for identifying friendly forces. The transceivers were ordered under Comtech’s U.S. Army Movement Tracking System contract, bringing the total orders received to-date under the contract to $190.8 million.
