Xantic received a contract from NATO to provide Inmarsat services for deployed forces, the company announced Aug. 11.

Under the agreement with the NATO Consultation, Command & Control Agency, Xantic will provide Global Area Network and Regional Broadband Global Area Network services to the NATO headquarters in Sarajevo, the Kosovo Force in Kosovo, the International Stabilization and Assistance Force in Afghanistan and the NATO Training Mission in Iraq.

Financial terms of the deal, which runs through 2008, were not disclosed.
