Sirius Satellite Radio announced Aug. 8 a multi-year agreement to broadcast the “game of the week” for Ivy League football and men’s basketball, along with a select number of men’s hockey and other league sports events.

The Ivy League consists of eight universities: Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton and Yale. The football season begins Sept. 17. The men’s basketball season begins Nov. 11. Sirius will announce broadcast schedule at a later date.
