Worldspace Inc. closed its first day of trading on the Nasdaq market at $22.36.

Worldspace’s debuted on the Nasdaq market Aug. 4 under the symbol WRSP with an initial public offering of 11.9 million shares of common stock priced at $21 per share. The offering included 368,400 shares being sold by an existing stockholder, and Worldspace granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 1.8 million shares to cover over-allotments.
