Echostar Communications Corp. announced July 25 two additions to the international programming lineup of its Dish Network direct-to-home satellite television service: a French music video channel and a Punjab-language Indian channel.

The music channel, Trace TV, is a 24-hour French language video channel that offers a lineup of music-based entertainment. Dish customers can subscribe to the channel on an a la carte basis for $3 per month when subscribing to any Arabic, Farsi, German, Greek, Israeli, Italian or Portuguese channel, or through select programming packages.

The Punjab-language Indian channel, Alpha ETC Punjabi, features dramatic series, news, comedies, interactive shows and live music, all rooted in Punjab culture and centered on family values. Echostar said it is the only pay-TV provider in the United States to offer Alpha ETC. Dish customers can subscribe to the channel on an a la carte basis for $14.99 per month.
