Astrata Group Inc. signed an agreement with Denmark’s North Securities ApS to provide a GPS-based vehicle tracking system, Astrata announced July 20.

Under the $3 million contract, Astrata will provide hardware and software for the tracking system. North Securities, which provides asset management services in the Nordic and Baltic regions, and Astrata also agreed to work jointly to develop new technology and systems targeting other industries such as mail delivery, property development, transport, electronic security, police and defense.

Shipments of the hardware and software are scheduled to begin Aug. 1.
