SES Americom announced July 19 it signed a deal to provide satellite distribution services to G4, a television channel dedicated to video games.

G4 programming will be delivered to cable head ends throughout the United States via Americom’s AMC-10 satellite, located at 135 degrees West. Eleven cable operators, including Comcast, Cox, Time Warner Cable and Charter, as well direct-to-home satellite service television service providers DirecTV and Echostar Communications Corp., carry G4.

Financial terms of the capacity deal were not disclosed.
