Orbital Sciences Corp. named Ronald Kadish, the former director of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, to the company’s board of directors, Orbital announced June 30.

Kadish retired from the Air Force in September 2004, leading U.S. missile defense efforts for the final five years of his career.

Since retiring from the Air Force at the rank of Lieutenant General, Kadish has served as vice president and partner of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc.
