Hughes Network Systems LLC (HNS) announced June 14 that it has begun shipping the DW7000 family of next-generation broadband satellite routers to customers in the Asia/Pacific Region.

The DW7000 product family is highly scalable for various enterprise, government and rural requirements. It is compliant with the Internet protocol transmission over satellite standard and complies with the DVB-S and DVB-S2 standards for the downlink, which yields downstream rates as high as 90 megabits per second.
