New Skies Satellites received a contract to distribute direct-to-home television programming for Hong Kong-based Asia Times Online, New Skies announced June 14.

Asia Times will use the NSS-6 satellite to distribute news, education, travel and entertainment programs across Southeast Asia.

Details of the agreement were not released.
