Swe-Dish Satellite Systems signed a cooperation agreement with Australia-based Anitcom, which could enable Swe-dish to boost revenues in the Asia-Pacific region.

Anitcom provides mobile network solutions for the Australian defense industry, federal and state government agencies, and corporate enterprises. The agreement will strengthen Swe-Dish’s position as a provider of satellite communication networks for voice, video and data in the Australian and Asian market.

“We are very positive regarding this cooperation,” Lars Jehrlander, Swe-Dish CEO, said in a statement. “It is a natural next step in our global strategy to become a total solution provider for our customers in this region.”
