The Korea Herald reported June 10 that more than 50,000 customers signed up for the mobile satellite television service offered by TU Media Corp. during its first month of commercial service. The service delivers seven video and 20 radio channels to mobile phones. TU Media said if it is able to maintain this pace it will achieve its goal of 600,000 subscribers by the end of the year, according to the report.
