Swe-Dish Satellite Systems will develop an Internet protocol (IP)-based, Ku-band satellite network for Malaysian authorities based on its suitcase terminal already in use by other government organizations. The order includes voice and data equipment from Anitcom, an Australian system integrator. The system will give access to analog telephone lines, Ethernet connections for data and MPEG 2 video streaming via the IP encoder. Defense forces, government agencies and rescue organizations use this solution.
