Globecomm Network Services Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Globecomm Systems Inc., captured a pair of contracts from unnamed customers valued at a combined $1.6 million, Globecomm announced June 1.

Under the first contract, Globecomm will provide network management, field installation and site management to a major U.S.-based financial institution for three years.

For the second contract, Globecomm will provide satellite uplink, downlink and teleport services to a branch of the U.S. military for a year.
