NDS Group plc said Viasat Broadcasting, a digital satellite pay-TV broadcaster in the Nordic region, will use the NDS XTV personal video recorder solution. Using this technology, Viasat subscribers will be able to pause, fast-forward and rewind live programs, record one program while watching another, manage content that has been saved to the set-top box and easily find live or saved programs. The service is expected to be launched later this year.
