SES Astra and satellite service provider Globecast – launched – La TV Latina, the first multilingual Latin culture channel in Europe.
La TV Latina is targeted to Latin culture and Latin lifestyle aficionados and will broadcast Latin-American productions –including entertainment, movies, documentaries, music, magazines and sports– as well as Latin-American events in Europe. The channel will be broadcast in Spanish and Portuguese and will be subtitled, or dubbed, in French.
The service will be carried over Astra at 19.2 degreesEast via a Globecast teleport located in Madrid, Spain.
