Japan Returns To Iridium Market

United Press International reported that KDDI Network and Solutions Inc. will offer Iridium satellite services to the Japanese market, marking the first time in five years the service will be available in Japan. The service previously offered by Nippon Iridium Corp. in 1998, but that company folded in 2000 when it was not able to attract subscribers, the report noted.
