Dish Targets New York Mets Fans In New Promotion

EchoStar Communications Corp. announced a special offer to New York Mets fans in the New York tri-state area and parts of Pennsylvania who otherwise are not able to watch the team on local cable. Eligible customers in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and the Wilkes Barre, PA, area can subscribe to EchoStar’s Dish Network direct-to-home satellite television service for $19.99 a month plus an extra $5 for Fox Sports New York and/or Madison Square Garden Network. The package will give fans the ability to watch more than 90 Mets baseball games this season.
