Swe-Dish Integrates iDirect Modem In Suitcase

Swe-Dish unveiled the IPT-i Mil Suitcase, which includes an integrated modem from iDirect Technologies. The integrated modem allows for data rates of up to 4.2 Mbps and opens up for advanced bandwidth sharing, which Swe-Dish says will decrease bandwidth costs. The IPT-i Mil Suitcase weighs only 39 kg and comes with several aids to make network operations easy, including GPS capabilities, a built-in compass, a browser-based step-by-step set up wizard and satellite auto-acquisition.
