TOT Corp., a state-run telecommunications company in Thailand, is considering leasing up to 1.5 gigabytes of bandwidth on the iPSTAR satellite, according to a Dow Jones report. A TOT executive was quoted as saying that the leasing of bandwidth will allow the company to add high-speed Internet services to its current offering of telephone services. The iPSTAR satellite is scheduled for launch in June, the report noted.
