Women In Aerospace (WIA) said U.S. Air Force Col. Jay Raymond is confirmed as a third panelist participating in a discussion about the utilization of space-based assets for national security, joining already confirmed speakers Amy Alving of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and Pete Rustan of the National Reconnaissance Office. This panel will discuss the current innovative efforts within National Security Space and what is being done to further encourage innovation in this arena.

The discussion will take place March 30 in room 2325 of the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C. from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., with an opportunity for networking with industry professionals beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event is free for WIA members and $5 for non-members.
