The Launch Services Alliance–an alliance between Boeing Launch Services, Arianespace and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries–announced a new contract employing Alliance launch systems to deliver satellites to orbit on time. The new contract will provide back-up service for one of the Paradigm Secure Communication’s satellites. The Ariane 5 ECA and the Zenit-3SL will provide mission assurance for this satellite, scheduled to launch in the second half of 2006.
