XM Satellite Radio said it hired Jon Zellner to serve in the newly created position of senior vice president of music programming. Zellner comes to XM from Infinity Broadcasting, where he most recently served as vice president of adult top 40/hot adult contemporary programming and oversaw stations in 17 cities. Zellner held other programming positions at Infinity and has 18 years of radio industry experience.

“Jon Zellner will be a great addition to our talented programming team,” Eric Logan, executive vice president of programming at XM in a prepared statement. “Jon has built an outstanding reputation in the radio industry for his leadership and vision in overseeing successful stations in a wide variety of markets.”
