Satlynx CEO Confident Over Revenue Increase
Paul Heinerscheid, CEO of European satellite broadband operator Satlynx, is confident the company will substantially increase revenues in 2005. In terms of revenue projections in 2005, Heinerscheid told Satellite Today, “We do believe that we will have a sizable increase in revenues in 2005. We need to remain prudent. In part, because of the delicate adjustments and restructuring that we have undertaken and are still in the process of carrying out, we don’t want to be over-optimistic for 2005. But we have several reasons to believe that 2005 will be a better year.”
The operator aims to become one of key players in providing satellite broadband services in areas of Europe where there are no terrestrial alternatives. Satlynxprovides two-way satellite broadband communications services to enterprises/corporates, consumers and small office/home office users throughout Europe, extending and complementing terrestrial networks.
