GoIP Global Inc. said it signed a contract to distribute and service Hughes Network Systems‘ Direcway satellite terminals in Central Asia, countries of the former Soviet Union, the Middle East and North Africa. The terms of the three-year agreement call for GoIP to provide satellite broadband Internet services, including VoIP, with speeds of up to 2 megabits per second. The company said it is targeting 300 subscribers totaling $3 million in sales this year. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
