International Launch Services (ILS) said it received authorization from the U.S. Air Force to proceed with a mission to launch a GPS satellite in early 2007. The satellite will be launched on an Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The specific date of the launch was not announced.
