Humax said it entered into development and supply agreements with DirecTV Inc. According to Humax, the agreements encompass various set top box models, including a portion of the entry-level receivers that will feature interactive services and a high-definition TV receiver capable of receiving MPEG-4 broadcasts. Humax also will produce the new DirecTV digital video recorder. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
